But we know for sure that Destin hasn't been prepping and can shoot Shang-Chi 2 sometime later this year, early next year, before Avengers?
There are a lot of filmmakers who can multitask and prep one film while doing post for another. Prep often involves daily meetings but probably not more than 6 or 7 hours, while post, other than editing, does not involve that many hours per day since so much is being done by others. Zach Snyder, for instance, has frequently been working on two movies at once, and there are a few others I can think of that are able to overlap. Let's have faith in Destin! :)

AVNG5/6 come out in 2025, so earliest SHCH2 shoots is 2026 for 2027 release. {nm} Jul 26, 17:53

There's only one free slot Feb 2025 back to back with AVNG5. Why didn't they announce it? {nm} Jul 26, 19:36
Saving it for D23? I mean, why didn't they announce Destin as director at Comic-Con? {nm} Jul 27, 05:55
The super whammy longshot odds is Destin is doing all 3 in a row, but that will probably kill him ;) {nm} Jul 27, 08:06
hoping for a Kang karaoke scene =P {nm} Jul 26, 18:04
