Static shock was a great cartoon. I was looking forward to it.
His powers are interesting kind of OP but limited in duration. If they kept it about superheros and villans and not full on social comentary it really had a chance to be a cool under the radar superhero movie. I know a ton of people who were looking forward to it more then many of the upcoming DC and Marvel "mainstream" super futures.
