Less than 12 months away - the 2024 theatrical release calendar seems thin (36 till date on HSX)

I know the smaller budget movies will get slotted in from time to time at short notice but still I don't think this has happened in recent years barring Covid-19 period. This is 3 releases a month, not even 1 release a week & not all of these are ones with big budget/banner/stars. 2025 thus far is 4 & there's no pandemic related uncertainity nor recent time loss wrt Production.

Are there genuinely fewer movies set for release as on date or are we missing a few?
