Indiana Jones and the Uncanny Valley of Doom (B-)
Those deep fake trailer clips that looked so great were obviously very carefully chosen, in direct light for any sustained amount of time, it clearly looks like Harrison Ford and his stunt double are wearing a CGI 1980's Indiana Jones Halloween Rubber Mask and a CGI Indiana Jones movie at worst, vs the better deep fakes out there that more or less look like live action footage. That mostly goes away halfway through.
Otherwise takes way too long for Indiana Jones to do Indiana Jones things and the big swing comes so late that they can't really do as much with it.
At least HFORD really goes all in, he can be accused of sleepwalking through lots of 90's early 00's films, but he's definitely invested, most of the other performances are solid as well.
