I'm surprised this campaign isn't in violation of their $300,000 settlement agreements unless it only covered a certain amount of years.
Ultimately their plan sounds like they will continue to try and make noise during development/production/release until Blumhouse/Lionsgate pays them to go away [again]. That said I don't really see any groundswell of support forming around them other than articles like these. The 2016 Blair Witch while no white hot smash, was still very profitable vs its $5 million budget.
