That movie has already become such a problem for Sony since it's another one where they delayed it over a year and then delayed it again, and Dec 13 is a terrible release date for a movie that doesn't have a built-in fanbase like Lord of the Rings (which also has problems when you look at how poorly Transformers One did, compared to the live action movies). The bigger problem with that Dec 13 date is that with a few examples (Avatar 2, Lord of the Rings movies, Star Wars movies, Spider-Man: No Way Home), things slow down in the weeks ahead of Christmas, and unlike those other movies, Kraven is not likely to get a bump over the holidays being R-rated and not for families. It does have a slight advantage that there is not a huge major franchise release, not even something like Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, this December, though if it's bad and Sony is trying to hide that fact, word will get out and then it's doomed. IOW, I'm dubious of its current price when you consider that that Aquaman sequel only ended up grossing $124.5 million domestically.
