Becoming Led Zeppelin: A; Loudest I've ever heard it in the Irvine Spectrum IMAX. Wonderful. Great live footage.

The first half hour, of the band's members own experiences from the late 50's through the early 60's, is very good. It all leads up to the point where Page puts the band together and they play together for the very first time. Monumental. For any rock fan, this is simply essential, and prepare to have a wonderful time. My wife and I had smiles on our faces the whole way through.

The only reason I don't give this an A+ is, there's simply too little live footage of the band that exists from those earliest days. The footage is just not there, and so, during the second half of the film, you're left wanting a little more bonafide live footage of actual performances. But that's quibbling. The footage they DO have will knock your socks off, and while it's not necessarily brand new to hard core fans (check out the Zeppelin DVD from the 2000's), to see it and hear it on the big screen is MAGNIFICENT.

I might go again tomorrow night lol.
