A24 remaking/re-adaptating the '60s apocalypse film The Masque of the Red Death starring Mikey Madison

Says the movie has a "serious start date". Charlie Polinger director. She replaced Sydney Sweeney as she'll be shooting Gundam in the fall (so supposedly clashing dates).
The original was pretty grim so I guess re-imagining was needed to pull more people in to watch. I hope they give it Game of Thrones vibes (its possible from what I've read regd the changed storyline).
