Seems like it would have been beneficial to sell the Mandalorian rights other streamers before the release of the movie--just for a month, say--so someone mildly interested might "catch up" and then see the movie in theaters. There is zero chance I'm going to get a Disney+ subscription and, likewise, I'm not going to see this movie without the backstory. I feel this way about all streamer cross-overs (mostly Marvel, where it hasn't been an issue, but feels like it could). Oh well!
