You probably haven't heard of it because awareness of its existence largely came from a former LAFF programmer who passed away a few years ago. Its one of the most human depictions of filmmaking ever recorded (one of the directors claims to have intentionally lost one of his fingers at his day job to collect insurance money which helped fund the film) and is one of the greatest making of a movie doc ever. When I saw it, there was talk about a restoration & release but that was 2024 so who knows if that will ever happen. 


Its a true event so if you have the means, go!
