So based on the IM math of the above post GIJOE should adjust to at least (at least) $292.11 Oh man the money just doesn't get any easier

Can GIJOE open to Potter numbers sure, anything can happen. Give people a movie they want to see and they will show up. Is it likely to open to Potter numbers no. But just remember no movie had opened in February to 58 million until Hannibal opened, the top movie up until then was Scream 3 at just under $40 million. Funny what numbers stick in your head. In the real world stuff does surprise. :)
See, I can make the numbers show anything I pretty much want when all I do is a single point analyse and use numbers that haven't been put into context. Percentages mean nothing if you don't know what they are a percentage of and since Fandango doesn't give their sales numbers it's pretty much useless in game terms.
Secondly, I've never seen anybody that does numbers ever show a correlation of Fandango percentages and actual BO receipts. And as far as I know there isn't one. It's an interesting number put out by Fandango but as far as game useage goes it does nothing.
Just remember to read everything here with a grain (well maybe a pound) of salt. Just because something is posted doesn't make it so. That's why I post a "Your mileage may vary warning when I do numbers" Look at think about it come to your own conclusions as to yeah he seems to be right or there goes H again talking out of his a**. but like I showed above there are statistics, dam* statistics and my tax returns err I mean people that post extrapolations. :)
In mIRC I don't show the math I just post the number, but the people I chat with they do the math (you will also see them in the top 10 weekly gainers regularly) if we differ substantially then we pull out the math. It's a pain in the **** to type out the math for no reason. Here I can't do that. :))))-
And on hsxticker over on EFNet over on mIRC we do substantially more movie analyse then ever gets posted here. It tends to go in spurts but everybody is welcome to join the channel. Plus we then to post that stuff there first, along with news. We like to make our friends richer. Of course they still have to be around.
