Per BO.com (& I think they're being realistic here), THOR3 could be a $100m domestic opener;

TAWAI (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taika_Waititi) identifies as Maori, so I'm wondering ... in a year when the $100m opening weekend milestone was achieved by Patty Jenkins (WONDR) as first female director -- & narrowly missed by the African-American helmer FGGRA (FAST8), would Taika's accomplishment also be considered noteworthy?
I, for one, think diversity is worth celebrating -- & hope the media catches on, as it'd be great if Taika was acknowledged for (potentially) breaking into the sea of white faces credited with $100m opening weekends;
