I'm not arguing the point (DIEH5), I'm arguing the method (attacks and false accusations).
I concede point one. I do not concede point 2. You have validated point one and remained silent on point 2... The psychology of humans is therefore tacit approval point 2; despite the fact that he is not.
An aggressive approach creates an adversarial situation. His approach could have been to explain that a month ago BWILL himself told SS personally that DIEH5 is on the books...or whatever his explanation. He would have shown me as less informed and deflated my post. Instead he chose to attack me personally, suggesting I was guilty of manipulation...based on what? That he lost some pretend money? Contraversy makes news. So now, I'm sure many a player was interested in this post vs. none. This is the behavior I was referring to previously (a month ago) when I spoke of certain players "smacking" other players around, creating an unwelcoming environment.
My post went from a well intentioned (but perhaps poorly worded tag line) release of information as to BWILL's acting schedule to a back alley scrap. At the end of the day, in these forums he is a wolf and I am a sheepdog. Outside these anonymous walls, I dare to say he is probably a sheep; whereas, I am still a sheepdog. There is nothing morally superior about the sheepdog, but he does have one real advantage. Only one. And that is that he is able to survive and thrive in an environment that destroys 98 percent of the population.
And before you ask, I do have a masters in Psychology...though that doesn't have much to do with what I do for a living. I am the person paid to stand toe to toe with bullies like this. You thank me for it during the day, by the way. At night, you just hope I do my job.
HSX is a game, but I will not have my integrity called into question as a method of discreditation. Principle (A fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior) is not a part time job. It's a philosophy, a mindset, a lifestyle.
