I can not deny that the 3 year rule for directors and other exceptions is rather arbitrary.
Fine if you wanna given them more time but declare it. 4 years or 5 years whatever Antibody decide but make it a rule rather than exceptions. There are not many cases; so specific rules can be created and follow for each scenario so people can play with that in mind.
In case for whatever reason something got undetected then delist/adjust following movie adjust date after being put in the calendar or in an anoucement. Something along those lines should be okay.
