I'm in a business where most customers don't understand what it is we actually do. I've been known to tell a customer where
they were wrong in the past and give them the option to either accept it and move on or kindly take your business elsewhere.
We currently have near 1900 clients (recurring). Between 40 and 50 sign up monthly. We lose about 6% a month to nonusage. If I had to put a number on it I would say in the 4.5 years I have been doing this I have seriously tangled with about 20 clients.....all of them in the wrong mind you. Out of those 20 clients 2 couldn't get past what we said or our offerings, they indeed picked up and left (fully refunded).
I just got through handling my 21st problem child and man am I angry. Just had to get that out there. This seems like a good venting board.
