but I'm glad there are two companions ATM because the reboot was getting very (don't slam me for saying this) hetero-normative. Like, this model of the Doctor and 'his girl' is a bit retrograde; they had to break that up a bit. the problem is Amy herself, she's not such a great actor, no subtlety.

I liked the child Amy Pond. Maybe a really young companion would be good some time?

Would the doctor ever travel with just a man?

And what do people think about the factoid that River Song revealed, that the Dr could regenerate as either gender (in fact, has done so)? I wonder if the Beeb would do that?
