I feel like I need to explain some things...

I have Asperger's. That's part of the reason why I love numbers and working with numbers so much, and why I decided to go into the field of accounting, because it's all according to set rules and they never change. (In case you don't know, people who have Asperger's are very uncomfortable with change, and like a set pattern and set way of doing things.) In a sense you could probably say that in some things I have a child-like mentality, because I think that with people that have Asperger's, even though they develop in the same way as a normal adult, there are some things that they still retain a child-like mentality about.

I am also a very tender-hearted and emotional person. The insults that have been hurled at me on this site of late (even if they may have been deserved somehow) have hurt me quite a bit. At one stage it almost got to the point where I didn't want to post anymore in the forums on here, because I thought that I was either going to be insulted somehow, or people were going to treat my posts with disdain because I somehow offended them by some of my earlier comments (which I tried my best not to offend anybody with). At that point I was actually seriously thinking of quitting this site completely.

Someone just recently on here brought to my attention that I have a habit of changing the conversation towards me. I didn't realize that was what I was doing, but if people don't like me doing that, then I will try to stop doing it.

If there has been any instance where I have said something nasty or done something on here that has hurt, upset or offended anyone on here, I sincerely apologize, and I will do my best to not let it happen again.
