I do not think that this warrant's an SMU type death penalty. I do think that all of the athletes should be given the chance to transfer
without waiting for a year, But then again, it is already July 18th and any penalty would be hard to enforce for the 2012-13 season.

It is indeed unfortunate that 60 years of positives by Joe Paterno have been destroyed by this scandal. He was an enabler, and we will never know what else he covered up.
