So if someone's a public figure we then automatically get a free ticket to insult and badmouth them?
Public figure =/= free ticket to insult. Nowhere in Scripture does it say things like "don't gossip... unless it's about a public figure" or "don't slander... unless it's about a public figure", etc. What you are doing all the time on these forums when you say stupid things like you did about Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale are contrary to Scripture, and you need to stop.
Speaking positively about films is not the same as being supportive and encouraging of people. Since you started posting on here, you have posted things bad-mouthing actors, actresses, directors, others on here, and you have never apologised for any of it. Your actions thereby demonstrate that you are insensitive to others, and when you are insensitive to others people call you a jerk. That isn't a personal attack, that's a wake-up call to stop being insensitive. Similarly, my post is a wake-up call for you to stop being insensitive. I'm sorry to say, but it seems that things like a smack in the face is what it takes to get your attention on here, because all other times that people have asked you politely to stop being insensitive you've come back with excuses like "it's my right" and then, when pressured a little more, "I'll sue" and things like that. You seriously need to start thinking "is what I'm about to say in line with how Scripture tells us to speak?" and if the answer is no, delete the comment before you post it. Otherwise I'm just going to keep reminding you about it until you stop.
