with the exception of Shameless I agree, better than anything on Starz or Showtime. however, I understand you can't compare Cards to Shame.

I'm not a fan of the narration of the show.  Didn't kill it for me, but just seemed a tad cheesy.

Agree about writing and acting.  I would grade it right at the same level, maybe a 7.25 even.
