why not? free content, wide variety, more fun in 5 min. than say 3 hours of a MBay film. Im not in that age group, yet even I'd take "epic
rap battles of history" or "kids react" or a few other youtube bits over anything Wil Ferrell or Johnny Depp has done lately. From a teens point of view, why pay $10 and waste 2 hours on 1 film like Transcendence with NO PHONES ALLOWED when they can watch 20 different stories for free, texting and talking throughout?
Now some of those youtube stars I dont get *at all*, but then I know, like me, you all watched crappy stuff when you were younger too.
Only thing to really wonder about is how and when the entertainment industry will have to change, when kids are growing up with soooo much free content.
