Yes, it will likely offer timeshifting and unlimited repeats, older content, and probably few/no commercials.
But, not having Cable myself and poor over-the-air recepotion here, I might consider a couple bucks a month ($2) for a CBS-only service. I just wish they would package it in something like a Roku or AppleTV so that I could choose the channels I wish to subscribe to from all in one place rather that paying out in 20 different directions in one month (Netflix, HBO's subscription, CBS, etc...)
