Great thoughts from RazorHawk, here's some additional thoughts from me having seen these pilots.
Blood & Oil - If you liked Revenge, this show will be for you. Too campy and soapy for me. Should be good for counter programming against the NFL, or in time-shifted viewing.
Dr. Ken - This pilot was painful. Ken is hilarious, but he should stay as a supporting character and not be the lead. After all these seasons on TV, you would think his acting would have gotten better and not been so over the top.
Quantico - The time slot sucks. But the network has high hopes for Priyanka. This is one of the few dramas I might actually give a shot to.
Code Black - We've seen this before. Louis Guzman is annoying to me in this... And to have a crisis week after week? Meh.
The Grinder - The pilot I laughed the most while watching. Savage and Lowe have great chemistry together and I could see this one growing week after week, but the competition is fierce for this one. This one will be on the DVR for sure.
Grandfathered - The pilot shows potential, but I'm not 100% sold on it just yet. Will give it 3 episodes or so to see if it grabs me.
