wouldnt releasing the video to the public be a violation of suspects privacy? also, are some aspects of police duty worth keeping private? .
ie, specific crimesolving techniques that if made public would hurt crimesolving
i think my first tendency is to be ok with the camera footage only made public as part of a criminal or civil proceeding, as currently would be the procedure, though i am open to altering my opinion as more is known about how this will all work
