ratings for everything just keep dropping. part of it surely how lame awards shows have gotten, but maybe the ratings system is broken...

its not like tv is dying. billions being poured into shows and services. things are changing fast and the old ways just are not keeping up.

but as for the emmys. heard bad reviews. no host a bad idea (a good host can help with promotion), and no chance any of the shows *I* like will win anything.

nice for fleabag and the literally dozens of people who love the show i guess but so many shows and their disparate audiences makes it hard for a general audience to really care much
