reading comics on digital...watched Baker and the Beauty...catching up on the DVR...been doing a lot of KenKen puzzles...
I got turned on to writer Chip Zadarsky, so I read his run on Spectacular Spider-Man, his Spider-Man: Life Story (an alternate universe story), and am currently subscribed to Daredevil which is his current book (heavily inspired by the Netflix series IMO). All on digital on Comixology. Great writer! At my older age, I prefer dialog that flows naturally and not made stiff by exposition. He's great at action scenes (he's a former artist) as well as conversations.
Wife and I watched the entire first season of Baker and the Beauty and we love it. Don't be fooled by the commercials. It's more than just a rom-com - it's really a show about family. Everyone gets decent screen time and we can't wait to see what happens to them next. Also, the scenes in the Cuban bakery make us miss Porto's :) Apparently, it's based on a hit Isreali TV show.
We also have a backlog on the DVR. From Expedition Unknown to sitcoms.
I also gave kenken puzzles a try and got hooked. They're like sudoku, but with a little math thrown in. I play on my iPad.
