searching fourms

I there any way the fourms can be switched to a format that allows you to search through the fourms. All the time I see a new player post a question and someone respond that, this has been asked and answered already. Well for those of us who are new or casual players it could be helpful to be able to search the forms with a simple function rether than the only option being to troll in the hopes you might find something.
