Regarding Yesterday's Trading Outage

We've determined that the root cause of yesterday's problems stems from external sources.  We're not sure if this was a malicious attack aimed specifically at HSX or not, but it does look like a hack was attempted.

Unfortunately, this caused a procedure to fire that duplicated the holdings in everyone's port.  Or should I say fortunately, since this quickly alerted us to the problem. 

The vulnerabilities that this exposed have been closed and portfolios have been restored.  We've also brought in some specialists to make a full review of the site to further tighten things up. When all is said and done we will have a better site.
