I'm game ... anyone want to build on this? Maybe we need to make a wiki that people could update?

- Make sure you click through to the original news source and post the original. don't link to news items being reported by secondary media (ie, if Collider reports that THR is saying X is cast in Y, you should cite the THR piece, not post the Collider).

- Just because you're using the ticker symbol, doesn't mean it should necessarily always be enclosed in square brackets to tag the post to the stock page.

- Any statements about how well or badly X stock is going to go should be backed up by math, or clearly stated as personal opinion. Don't tag conjecture.

- Tracking should be tagged if it's RS or MTC. Not sure if it's OK to tag predictions from other sources such as LAT or BOG or whoever (confirmation please?)

- Doesn't hurt to use the ticker symbol instead of the full movie title in your header, both so it's a bit shorter, and so traders can find the stock more quickly.

- News that has alredy been posted (check the movie stock page, or scan the most recent Movies board posts) should not be posted again.

- News that is more than X days old will be considered 'old news' and removed. (X is certainly anything older than a week, but it's a grey area).

- Keep self-promoting posts to a minimum. If you directed a movie and want to tell people about it, once will be enough, and be sure to declare your interest. Same goes for your fansite updates. People are generally supportive, but there must be balance. Don't wear the community out with PR.

- No posting about current stock movement as it can inappropriately skew the market. Do not post purely with the intention of moving a stock up or down; if it's transparently so, your post will be removed by the mod. If you want to move a stock up or down, you'd better do it with facts.

- Post within the HSX terms of use, which I'm sure we've all read.
