The figures HSX is using for total box office
I'm pretty sure are NOT just based on the 4 weeks they are are, but actually ON the total domestic box office grosses.
The 4 weeks HSX uses here is merely for the time the site uses for delisting a movie, NOT to calculate total grosses. Even the star bonds are capped with movies earning $250M+ so obviously HSX is using higher figures for box office than just the 4 weeks they are on the exchange...
Personally, the BOB (Box Office Battle) is a different game, it's kinda fun to play & guess (for me, anyway - I don't go to the trouble of looking up how much each movie made, takes too much time, and we're only talking a total of $10K here) how movies did.
I think HSX is trying to give the site some new ideas, they're testing things out, seeing what's working or popular & what's not....
I give them credit for trying things....let's enjoy it.
