Movie Fund Question

I thought I had a great idea for a new movie fund proposal to manage. "The Golden Ticket Fund' which would invest in directors & actors from the top 10 (Domestic) Grossing Films. After 2 + weeks of follow up I got a simple one line response. "Thank you.. but we're not interested."  I would really like to become more involved in the game.  Does anyone have any advice on what types of funds they're looking for?
