FWIW, I like seeing the changes.
While there may be some hiccups, the site hasn't been updated in ages. I remember being upset over some of the hiccups that happened last time - but I went with it and (mostly) kept my opinions to myself. This time around, I'd like to encourage the work.
I'd even offer to help if they would be willing. I'm not a PHP dev and my front-end experience is limited, but anything I can offer - even if it's just testing/reviews - let me know.
