A lot of the work for "responsive design" that needs to work across the platforms that exist today and didn't when most of it was written
requires core site code changes, and infrastructural updates. Designers just give you a picture of what they want it to look like and developers actually make it work. It looks to me like this is moving along nicely and is already better than some of the things we have had in the past. I suprised it has gone as well as it has.
