Yeah, we pretty much agree. I've told one poster there's no way the old site is coming back. I've made
positive comments, and increasingly impatient criticism on trading, as well. But, I don't think HSX deserves a guardian stepping in to chastise every negative poster. For one thing HSX invited critique with the top text banner (until recently changed). It was then that the number of negative posts went way up. It's not a great surprise to me that some want to register their dismay, without typing up scholarly notes for HSX staff -- especially since all of the important suggestions have already been made.
And you... entirely miss the point about trading from within the port. Yes, every item has a trade button. But, if you use one, you get sent to a confirmation page, and if you hit your back arrow, you have to wait for the port to reload before you can make another trade. I use to be able to flip back to the port to continue trading. I'm not sure what's necessitating the reloads. But, I have suggested that a li'l popup window with confirmation info would be better.

Trading inefficiency - look at it this way: my port takes about 30 sec. to load. If I make 10 trades Aug 02, 16:17
