every time i buy something for 1 HW dollar; it jumps up a couple of dollars. when i sell for profit, it goes down. this makes no sense. if you are not going to sell or buy for the posted price, then don't list it.

no, they don't. do a test - your limit orders to (say) buy at .01 will at least half of the time buy at a higher price Dec 08, 15:18
