Singer Tyrese star as a young African-American man learning to become a responsible father in Baby Boy. He stops relying his mother and begins to take care of his child. Ving Rhames and Snoop Dogg co-star in the film. John Singleton, who debuted with Boyz 'N the Hood, will direct and produce from his screenplay. Many of the themes featured in his 1991 picture are revisited once again in this film.
