Description

Gretchen Mol will play pin-up queen Bettie Page in a biopic directed by Mary Harron. The Ballad of Bettie Page centers on the fetish model who took the '50s by storm with her brazen style and uncompromising poses. Page acquired a cult following despite becoming the subject of a senate committee investigation on juvenile delinquency. Although she disappeared at the height of her popularity, Page continues to have loyal fans. The film is written by Harron and Guinevere Turner.
