Description

A British ensemble comedy, Beautiful People follows an eclectic group of characters that includes a refugee, an obstetrician, a BBC reporter, a medical student and a Welsh guerrilla. The film, which premiered at the Un Certain Regard section of the 1999 Cannes Film Festival, is the creation of first time writer-director Jasmin Dizdar. People stars Charlotte Coleman, Charles Kay, Rosalind Ayres, Heather Tobias, Danny Nussbaum and Gilbert Martin.
