Description

Clint Eastwood will direct the World War II film Flags of Our Fathers about the Battle of Iwo Jima. Paul Haggis adapts from the novel by James Bradley and Ron Powers. Bradley's father was one of the six American soldiers who raised the flag at Mount Suribachi, the island's commanding point. Steven Spielberg will produce.
