Description

The French war-drama Indigenes looks at Algerians who fought for France during WWII. Set on the Alsatian front, the story details the tension between the French and their North African recruits and highlights discrimination experienced by the latter. Rachid Bouchareb directs and co-writes with Olivier Lorelle. The film won awards at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.
