Joe Somebody is the story of a man in his mid-thirties who is ridiculed in front of his daughter on Bring-Your-Daughter-to-Work Day. The man has a breakdown and must find the confidence to confront the work bully for a rematch. Fox 2000 picked up the spec script from John Scott Shepherd for Kopelson Entertainment to produce. AEI Productions will also be producing the comedy.
Tim Allen will take the lead role for director John Pasquin. Julie Bowen, Hayden panettiere, Patrick Warburton, and Greg Germann round out the cast.
