This film will be the fifth and final one set in Kevin Smith's View Askewniverse. The movie will feature characters from Smith's previous four efforts (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma), and wrap up loose ends in storylines. Jason Lee, Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Joey Laura Adams, Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson are scheduled to return. It will also mark the last film appearances by Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith as Jay and Silent Bob. The cast also includes Shannon Elizabeth, Eliza Dushku, Ali Larter and Jon Stewart.
