Description

Kekexili: Mountain Patrol details the clash between volunteers protecting antelopes and violent poachers in the treacherous mountain region of Tibet. The documentary style film centers on a Beijing reporter who travels to the remote region to investigate the happenings. He meets the leader of vigilantes and realizes the group protects the endangered animal amidst poverty and great risk to their own lives. The Chinese film from writer-director Chuan Lu stars Qi Liang, Xueying Zhao and Duoboji.
