A remake of the 1968 Steve McQueen classic, The Thomas Crown Affair chronicles a wealthy playboy (Pierce Brosnan) who begins a string of elaborate bank robberies more for the sport than for the money. Pursuing the debonair thief is insurance investigator Vivian Banning (Renee Russo). Dennis Leary and Faye Dunaway will also appear in the film. John McTiernan, whose prior credits include Die Hard and The Hunt for Red October is the director.
