The '60s animated series Underdog is the next cartoon to get the big screen treatment. After exposure to a powerful elixir, an ordinary dog turns into a superhero and battles Simon Bar Sinister while saving his girlfriend Sweet Polly Purebread. The series ran from 1964 to 1973. Adam Rifkin will script the film for Spyglass Entertainment.
