US trailer for The Sapphires

The Weinstein Co. has unveiled the domestic trailer for the musical comedy The Sapphires [SAPHR].  Chris O'Dowd [CODOW] stars in the film based on a true story about an all-Aboriginal female singing group  who aspired to perform for the Amiercan troops fighting in Vietnam during 1968.  The Australian film looks to be a crowd-pleaser following the well-worn formula of such films as The Commitments, The Full Monty and even The Bad News Bears.  The Sapphires opens in limited release on March 22nd.
