Apple has release the first trailer for The Crazies [CRAZI], yet another horror remake about zombies, infected people turned into rabid killers. The trailer started off well enough setting up a small rural town where Tim Olyphant [OLYPH] is the sheriff and Radha Mitchell [RMITC] is his wife. When the townsfolk start acting strangely violent, all hell breaks loose typical of the genre. But then the trailer takes a strange turn and cues up Gary Jules' "Mad World" as made famous by Donnie Darko. While a melancholy song may work for the somber Watchmen, it feels completely out of place for a fast paced thriller.
