In a close race for first place at the weekend box office, The Boss [MDARN] appears to have prevailed with an etimated $23.5 million. The R-ated comedy attracted an audience that was 59% female and 70% over the age of 25.
After a two-week reign, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice [SUPE2] slipped to second with $23.4 million. The fast-fasding superheroes mash-up has earned $296.7 million.
Hardcore Henry [HRDCR] debuted in third place with $5.1 million. The first POV actioner skewed male at 76%.
Demolition [DMOLT] nettd just $1.1 million to open outside the top 12.
