New trailer for Arrival

Paramount has unleashed the official, full-length trailer for the sci-fi thriller Arrival [SOYLF] based on the Ted Chiang story "Story of Your Life".  Amy Adams [AMADA], Jeremy Renner [JRENN] and Forest Whitaker [FWHIT] star in the film directed by Denis Villeneuve [DVILL].  Arrival is set for November 11th.

When mysterious spacecrafts touch down across the globe, an elite team - lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) - is brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.

I sure hope this film will do justice to Ted Chiang's story about the divergent ontology and "language" of the alien Heptapods... so far it doesn't look so good. I hope it might be as good as "Contact" many years ago... but both film already exist, don't
