The debut is second only to Beauty and the Beast's$174.8 million this year. The Marvel sequel skewed 56% male and 78% over the age of 25.
The Fate of the Furious [FAST8] was dethroned to second place with $8.5 million. The action film has gassed up $207.1 milion.
How to be a Latin Lover [HTBLL] dropped 57% in its second weekend to $5.3 million and fourth place. The comedy has grossed $20.7 million.
The Circle [CIRCL] finished sixth with $4.0 million, down 56% from its debut. The thriller has earned $15.7 million.
